Part of our worship service will be community service. After a short, outdoor worship service, we will work to beautify the grounds of Learning Without Limits school so that the kids can enjoy a refreshed indoor and outdoor space.

We'll have a variety of tasks to choose from, and all help is greatly appreciated! Lunch will be provided.

Palm Sunday is a day to remember the start of Jesus' “passion” week—the week that led him to the cross on Friday and the resurrection the next Sunday. That holy week started in the tension of people both praising and rejecting Jesus.

In a world that wants to convince us we will never die (or at least to distract ourselves from our mortality) crime, war, and pandemic remind us of the stark reality. The Christian tradition looks our mortality square in the face with realism and hope. Join us for a short service of ashes.

On this Love the Streets event Sunday, January 14th, join us for a shortened outside service before we work together to put our love in action! We will pick up trash along Foothill Blvd and at Cesar Chavez park – because no child should have to walk over trash on their way to school, and everyone should have a clean space to work and play. (Lunch provided.)

In addition to our regular 10:30am service, Tapestry will be hosting a special one-hour, Christmas-carol-filled, candlelight service at 5:30pm. (Note: No childcare provided for this service.)

Please join us for a community walk where we will come together as one group to uplift and support the city of Oakland.

We will begin with a moving pep rally featuring inspiring words from Love Never Fails Founder Vanessa Russell and Lived Experience Expert Elizabeth Quiroz, prayer by Pastor Gabe Garcia, and spoken word by Reshay Collier.

This is a unique opportunity to show your support for the Oakland community and connect with like-minded individuals committed to making a difference and fighting human trafficking in Oakland.

After the walk, we will gather for lunch and a raffle, providing you a chance to win exciting prizes while enjoying good company and conversation. This promises to be a fun-filled family event for a great cause.
